Charlotte I. Freeman, 81, of Greenfield, died at 11:11 A.M. on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield. She was born on August, 10, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Stephen D. and Adella Schakler.
Surviving is her husband; John P. Freeman of Greenfield, four daughters; Colleen Freeman of Williamsburg, Mary Jackson of Batavia, Linda Akers of Sabina and Kim Bedinghaus of Greenfield, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, close friend and traveling buddy Judy Wise of Greenfield. Charlotte was preceded in death by one grandson and one brother; Nicky Schakler.
She was a graduate of Woodward High School in Cincinnati and then went on to receive a degree in medical assisting from the Cincinnati Metropolitan College. Charlotte worked for many years at Greenfield Research and as a homemaker.
In keeping with her family’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Greenfield. Friends may visit with the family on Friday at the Church from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.m. The ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME of Greenfield is serving the family.
